บ้านเมือง
โดยส่วนตัวชอบดูพวกตึกหรือบ้านทรงโบราณที่มีอยู่ทั่วเกาะ เพราะว่าไปแล้วปีนังไม่ได้มีอะไรน่าสนใจนักเมื่อเทียบกับหลายๆที่ แต่จะมีเสน่ห์ในตัวเอง
อืมมมีร้าน KFC สาขาแถวๆ Jalan Anson สวยดี เป็นตึกโบราณเก๋มาก ย่าน Little India และแถวๆป้อมปืน (จำชื่อไม่ได้) ท่าเรื่อที่เป็นย่ายแบงค์ เงินทุน (จำชื่อถนนไม่ได้) ตึกรามบ้านช่องก็จะดูมีเสน่ห์ดี หากตื่นเช้าและชอบดูอะไร Local แนะนำให้เดินตลาด คล้ายๆตลาดนัด ตลาดสดบ้านเรา จำชื่อไม่ได้นะ แต่อยู่แถวๆโรงแรม Cititel และ Komtar อันนี้ก็มีเสน่ห์ไปอีกแบบ นอกนั้นเหรอก็เฉยๆ

Food
อาหารถ้าไม่เลือกก็ลองกินแบบพื้นเมืองดู มีทั้งแขก อินเดีย แต่สำหรับเรา ทานได้แต่จีน ก๋วยเตี๋ยวผัดแบบคล้ายๆผัดซีอิ้วบ้านเราอร่อยมากกกก ก็ไม่แพงจานละยี่สิบเอง (2 Ringit) เที่ยวให้สนุกนะคะ

shopping
Komtar ค่อนข้างๆจะเก่า เปรียบเที่ยบกับบ้านเราก็ห้างอะไรดีนะ คือขายของเกรดต่ำหน่อย แต่ห้างใหญ่นะคะ ดูเหมือนว่าเป็นตึกที่สูงสุดในเมือง เป็นที่รวมรถขนส่ง รับแลกเงิน อะไรพวกนี้
2) Gurney เป็นห้างใหม่ ก็น่าเดินที่สุดในปีนัง ติดทะเล แต่สู้บ้านเราไม่ได้หรอกค่ะ

Sightseeing :
1) Air Itam อันนี้พลาดไม่ได้ คือปีนังฮิลล์ ขึ้นรถรางไปดูวิว ไปเย็นๆจะดีกว่านะคะ ไม่ร้อน จะได้บรรยากาศก็ตรงช่วงนั่งรถรางขึ้นไป ถ้าคนเยอะอาจต้องยืนและแย่งกันบ้าง ข้างบนก็งั้นๆ แต่ไหนๆไปแล้วก็ควรขึ้นนะคะ
2) Batu Ferringghi Beach ย่านโรงแรมชายทะเล เมืองชายทะเล บ้านเราดูดีกว่าเยอะค่ะ
3) The Snack Temple เป็นวัดจีน
4) The Kek Lok Si วัดเต่าค่ะ สองวัดนี้ขึ้นไปก็สวยดี

I am a graduate student in the Graduate School, Kasetsart University, Thailand.
SETC2009 conference attracts me to have a participation.
I did not prepare myself for having presentation in the conference.
However, I would like to participate the conference if the fee is not costly.

There are some questions about the registeration.
Could I make a reservation for the SETC2009 as a student participant?
Can I send an e-mail containing a photocopy of my student ID card instead of fax it?
